March Madness Hot Sauce Competition Final Round!

This is it! The moment is here that we have all been waiting for! For the Final Round, I am using the hot sauces on Domino’s Pizza to see which sauce tastes the best. The pizza is made with the garlic Alfredo sauce, topped with jalapenos, onions, and extra cheese.

Each sauce will get two dips. One with just hot sauce, and the other dip is with the hot sauce and Domino’s blue cheese. The next two sauces to compete are Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego and the Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce.

The pizza is so cheesy and perfect.

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego is first to go on the pizza.

The first dip was good and the second dip tasted good with the blue cheese.

Up next is the last sauce of the March Madness… Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce.

This sauce was exactly what I was looking for on a pizza.

This is a reminder of how the sauce will be rated.

The hot sauces will be rated on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the least, and 5 being the most. The categories are:
1. Spiciness
2. Flavor
3. Taste on the food for the round

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego
Spiciness – 3
Flavor – 3.5
Taste – 3

Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce
Spiciness – 3.5
Flavor – 5
Taste – 5

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego tasted great on the chicken tenders round and the tacos. When it came to the pizza round it tasted really good but not great. The alfredo sauce hid most of it’s spice and the blue cheese completely covered up its spice. I love spicy but I want the blue cheese to cook it down while still being able to taste the spice and the flavor.

Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce really hit the spot on the pizza. It was amazing on the chicken and the tacos too. The spice was the perfect level with and without blue cheese. With the blue cheese, the flavor still broke though. The garlic added this amazing tasted to the Alfredo sauce!

Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce is the March Madness Hot Sauce Competition winner! This sauce tasted the best on each food item on all three rounds. It wasn’t always easy, but I know that I made the right choice. For the encore, I put some Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce on a wing from Domino’s OH YEAAH!

Disclaimer. I drank soda in between heat tastings to clean my pallet.
