March Madness Hot Sauce Competition Semi-Finals Game 2

This is the second and last game the semi-finals! I am using the hot sauce on Taco Bell soft taco supreme tacos to see which one tastes the best. The next two sauces to compete are Puckett’s Boat House Pepper Sauce and the Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce.

Puckett’s Boat House Pepper Sauce is up first on the tacos.

The sauce tasted exactly like I was eating Taco Bell’s fire sauce.

Up next is the Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce.

This sauce was really good too, I love the garlic flavor.

This is a reminder of how the sauce will be rated.

The hot sauces will be rated on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the least, and 5 being the most. The categories are:
1. Spiciness
2. Flavor
3. Taste on the food for the round

Puckett’s Boat House Pepper Sauce
Spiciness – 3
Flavor – 4
Taste – 3

Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce
Spiciness – 3.5
Flavor – 5
Taste – 4.5

Puckett’s Boat House Pepper Sauce tasted really good in the chicken tender round but on the tacos, it tasted just like the Taco Bell fire sauce. There is nothing wrong with this taste but I don’t like the Taco Bell sauces. I always use my own hot sauce for Taco Bell’s tacos and I don’t want to use a sauce that reminds me of the sauces that I don’t want to use. If you like the Taco Bell sauces, then this is a great sauce for you.

Memphis Hot Garlic Habanero Sauce was exactly what I was looking for on a taco. It was spicy and packed with flavor. I can’t wait to see who will win the final round!

Disclaimer. I drank soda in between heat tastings to clean my pallet.
