March Madness Hot Sauce Competition Semi-Finals Game 1

We have made it to the semi-finals! In this round, I will be using the hot sauce on Taco Bell soft taco supreme tacos to see which one tastes the best. The first two sauces that will begin the semi-finals are Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego and Memphis Hot Ghost Pepper Sauce.

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego was the first to go on the tacos in this game.

The sauce tasted amazing on the taco. So good that I wanted more tacos with this sauce on it.

Up next is the Memphis Hot Ghost Pepper Sauce this one was one of my favorites for the chicken round.

This sauce was really good too but it tasted spicier on the taco than the chicken.

This is a reminder of how the sauce will be rated.

The hot sauces will be rated on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the least, and 5 being the most. The categories are:
1. Spiciness
2. Flavor
3. Taste on the food for the round

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego
Spiciness – 3.5
Flavor – 4.5
Taste – 4.5

Memphis Hot Ghost Pepper Sauce.
Spiciness – 5
Flavor – 4
Taste – 3.5

During the chicken tenders round, I def enjoyed Memphis Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce over Captain Rodney’s, but Captain def has a way better taste on tacos. Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego for the win!

Memphis Hot Ghost Pepper Sauce was good but it was too spicy for the tacos. This is why we are doing different foods for each round because it is hard to find a hot sauce that tastes good on all foods. I still really enjoy this Ghost Pepper sauce but I drank a ton of soda to cool down my mouth. If you love super spicy, this sauce is definitely a great choice.

Captain Rodney’s Corazon del Fuego was amazing for tacos. It added just the right amount of heat and flavor to my taco that I was looking for.

Disclaimer. I drank soda in between heat tastings to clean my pallet.
