Blackhorse Pub and Brewery

Today my co-worker invited me to lunch with her brother and sister-in-law that were in town visiting. She picked the Blackhorse Pub to sit down and eat. I was starving so I looked at pictures and agreed to go. This restaurant is located in downtown Clarksville. When we walked in, it was packed. We waited 15 minutes for a table. After we sat down I ordered a Basil Berry Lemonade.

It was made with Stoli strasberi, basil strawberry pure, and lemonade. It was so fresh and delicious.

My co-worker’s brother ordered a beer cheese dip for the table.

For those of you who don’t know, I am in love with cheese dips.

This one was a thick consistency and had a little bit of a kick to it. I ate almost the whole bowl myself.

The server came around and took our orders. I ordered a house side salad with 1000 island.

And the blue cheese flat bread.

The side salad was more than just the boring lettuce and tomato. It had cheese, cucumbers, bacon and red onions. YUM!

The blue cheese flat bread came with shaved prime rib, blue cheese crumbles, spinach, tomatoes, caramelized onions, and mozzarella. All covered in a balsamic glaze.

There were so many flavors in my mouth.

My co-worker ordered the burger with the house made chips. I dipped the chips in blue cheese and it was really good.

We finished up with their giant cookie dessert.

I don’t really like sweets, but this cookie really hit the spot.
